Philip Whitney
is a graduate of LSU with a BS degree in Accounting. Concurrently while holding positions as a CPA in public practice, Corporate Controller, and Chief Financial Officer for various shipyards and oilfield manufacturers, Philip has utilized WMC to complete several construction projects for related entities. WMC is a licensed Louisiana contractor with a Commercial Building classification.
Nonna Whitney
is the Controller for a local tractor and implement dealer. Concurrently, Nonna is the Secretary of WMC and has been vital in the planning and execution of the projects undertaken by the Company.
What We Do
WMC is a general contractor for projects for related entities. Project history include the development of one residential subdivision, three commerical buildings, various interior buildouts and smaller construction projects. In addition, WMC has managed a small number of rental properties, and has provided certain business consulting services to related and unrelated entities. In 2016, WMC proposed the creation of floating communities to solve the pending dislocation of thousands of South Louisiana Residents by rising sea levels.
